I’ll let the video do most of my talking this week. After some of your comments last week, I decided to make this clip 16 minutes, with the last 16 minutes (32 mins total left) to come next week. I’ll see how long this length video takes to upload before deciding if longer clips makes sense to upload. Enjoy.
If you didn’t see it on the free emailing this morning, I have opened a Collection of small work for sale at a 20% discounted price from retail, for small studio and plein air studies, and other smallish paintings. All are being sold unframed, unless otherwise noted, with free shipping. The link is… STUDIO SALE.
My book/artist share for the week is a wonderful painter of wildlife, and the landscape, Ken Carlson. He’s a Minnesota born and bred boy, but has lived in Kerrville, TX for a long time. I’ve been painting some birds again lately, and Ken is someone who I’ve always looked up to as not only a very gifted animal painter, but also a very good landscape painter. His original work is ‘deliciously’ painterly, full of color and brush work that makes me drool whenever I get the lucky chance to see some of it.
The book I love is called: “Ken Carlson, From The Tundra to Texas”.
I hope you all have a holiday weekend, stay safe and see you next week.
Cheers,
Marc
