I am super excited about this dialogue on painting. Really enjoyed the insights from the Stooshinoff painting process. I had never heard of this painter before, but found what he had to say regarding intuition and analytics very interseting!

Amazing to me that the issue of thick or thin, body paint or wash, is such an issue with you. I have struggled with this for so long. I began with watercolor as a teen. When I began oils I tended to keep painting thin. Only fairly recently have l found some satisfaction with the texture issue. My current thinking on it is a mixture of both in a painting may be a good idea. But I’m never sure about anything in this thing called painting. An ongoing endeavor.
