This is my first post and an introduction of sorts to 'Crayolas Set Me Free', a new weekly email Newsletter/Blog. Please bear with me and let me explain what's up. Thank you...
So lovely to see you joined Substack Marc! I moved my Blog here last April and really love this platform! It's so refreshing not having to think about an algorithm as well as having a place to make great organic connections. I love how Substack is listening to its users and trying to improve/ upgrade from member's feedback. I found participating in "Writer's Office hours" on Thursdays to be really helpful and great for making connections.
I think you will really enjoy Substack. Looking forward to your future posts!
Don't actually know what to think of this tho, ... followed you on Wetcanvas, Blogger, Faso and will do so here but the amount of postings wheren't that much over the last years. Guess times changed for everyone a lot the last couple of years.
Hope you're well and still sane in this ever going madder clowns world.
Can’t wait to read what you have to share, Mac. And I’m glad I was on your FASO site so you included me. Have fun with this new venture, and I know we all will be the beneficiaries!
This is exciting, Marc - looking forward to what you will do here. Thank you for your fine teaching years ago via the Minnesota River School. When I paint now, many years and miles from that plein air class, I still hear your voice saying, “Looking good - now don’t screw it up.” 😊
This is a wonderful idea. I am very interested in your opinions and thoughts on painting. I have been painting a lot more and have more thoughts as well. These thoughts change over time. I am sure yours do as well.
Very excited to see what is next! Love your work. Thank you for this.
Thanks! I hate social media and appreciate those who continue to post blogs.
Your instruction in the past has been of great help to me, so I’m eager to read your new blog. Congrats!
You’ve always been so generous with your knowledge of everything art Marc. I’m excited to be following along.
I think I subscribed and am looking forward to it.

Look forward to hearing about art and painting!
You are very generous in sharing your knowledge to help other artists. I’ve learned good information from you in the two week workshop I attended.
Sounds like a great new adventurous road to travel!
