You can add a handle for sure. Duck tape would be a good choice. I don’t have handles because they are light enough to be in a back pack or carried under the arm.
This is sooo helpful! Thank you! I am planning on doing some plein air painting this summer, after a hiatus of... a decade (I was afraid to even say that!!!). Thank you for the great tips and the inspiration, Marc :)
Saw a great alternative to wet paint carriers from @sarahmanolecueartist on Instagram today.
The idea came from the late great Ken Howard. She carries boards in pairs of the same size, then separates 2 wet paintings (face to face) with matchsticks and tapes together to protect in transit.
An elegantly simple solution to minimising weight when painting outdoors.
I love seeing that other professionals make things out of foam core and duct tape! Good one - thanks for sharing.
Essentials in our world!!! Thanks Ann.
I am far too lazy for this but it is nice to know !!
Lol! I know, it’s a bit much. But if I left out the details people would want to know.
This is great! Looks like you make them specific to panel sizes that you use. How do you carry them… no handles? I guess you could try velcro handles?

Hey Keena… Get out there, you won’t regret it. Happy that some of this is helping.
Brilliant.
Utilitarianism and need! Thank you.

Good to hear, Glenn! Wasn’t too hard to make was it?
